There is: “deep-rooted women’s inequality” in Scotland’s justice system which was “designed by men for men” and is letting women down

Depressed, anxious, worried and scared were just some of the things I was feeling before I got involved with Positive Changes. Because of the situation I was in I had no confidence and was worried about being “judged” but those feelings quickly vanished.
Coming along to Making Positive Changes was a game changer or me. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of the second day of the group. Focussing on ourselves was difficult because it was hard to find the best in myself. But friendships within the group grew each day and these days were worth the hard work. On these days I would go home and think about my situation and how I ended up where I was. These hard working days made me want to make “Positive Changes” and not go back to my old ways. With help, support and encouragement from the team I started to move on with my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t been involved with “Grace Chocolates” or the “Positive Changes” course.
I love everything about “Grace Chocolates”. They met me at a low point in my life and have helped me pick myself back up and have supported me ever since. I wanted to create a better life not just for me but also for my family and it makes me want to change even more.
